As expected, following the $99 deal on the nook, Barnes & Noble has unveiled their latest version of the popular nook reading device.

B&N claims the newest nook can be used for up to two months on a single charge, which is very impressive.  They have further clarified their stance on battery life, reaching 150 hours of use while turning a page once per minute.

For people who aren't interested in the full color touchscreen nook Color, this device should be one to keep an eye on.

You can pre-order the new nook for $139, shipping starts on June 10th.

We think that the latest version of the nook will have the engineers over at Amazon working overtime.  We look forward to reviewing this device as soon as it becomes available, stay tuned!
